Local Classes:
The Northeast Tennessee affiliated site for The Theology Program is Grace Evangelical Free Church in Kingsport. Folks who have known the ministry of Chuck Swindoll will remember his radio program from his church, First Evangelical Free Church in Fullerton, CA. More recently Chuck moved to Dallas to become president, then chancellor of Dallas Seminary, his alma mater. The series of events included the founding of Stonebriar Church in Frisco, a non-denominational community oriented church.
From that work, two Dallas Seminary grads (Th.M.) and a Dallas professor developed The Theology Program as part of the church, and then as a self-sustaining Christian educational ministry.
Tri-Cities classes are part of the Seminary for All program at Grace Evangelical Free Church in Kingsport. The church is located at 617 Donelson Drive behind Jackson Elementary School. The director of the Seminary for All program is T. Glen Moody, who attended Graham Bible College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the church pastor is Kerry S. Doyal who is a graduate of Columbia Bible College and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Both men have many years experience in administering Christian education programs for adults.
